Revolver NY Screen Printing Workshop

While at Revolver New York, I created custom artwork that would be implemented during an upcoming screen printing workshop. The objective was to create nine compositions that could be mixed and layered by the RNY team through the process of screen printing to create unique art pieces. In addition to providing design and concept for the printed pieces, I was able to draw from my experience as a screen printer to lead and assist the team during the printing process.

Knowing that the final pieces would be used as backgrounds for our new website, a design challenge was to ensure that our brand typography would be legible if placed over each composition. Our concept was to highlight our studios connection to New York City and its many layers of texture and grit by abstracting images from our neighborhood’s urban landscape.
