Backwater is Mississippi’s first and only cider company, producing zesty, flavor-forward small batch ciders. Inspired by the remote backwaters of the Mississippi Delta and the brewery’s DIY approach, the brand identity incorporates bold iconography with texture and grit. Each label showcases custom collage illustrations that incorporate pop culture references in a “cut and paste” zine style.
